Charlie is a busy baby.I knew she would be.So I have been researchinggames,activities,songs,you know, learn-ny things.And one of the big themes I have come across is introducing your baby to all kinds of texture.
One of our favorite ways to practice thisis to fill a big bowl full of something"unusual"for Charlie to explore.
You can use:
Dried BeansDried PeasDried Egg NoodlesUncooked RiceSugar
I stick her pacifier in,sit right with her to make sure that it stays out of her mouth,other then that I just let her have at it.Yes.It is messybut it keeps their attention for so longand teaches them to investigate the world around them.
You can also give them bowls,cups,spoons,anything to dig and scoop.
