As a poor college student, there are things that I would just rather not pay for. Among them are parking tickets given by overzealous parking attendants in their hybrid golf carts and laundry.

In honor of Valentine's Day, my school and the company that leases us washing machines and dryers have collaborated to give students a Free Laundry Day. In all honesty, I cannot tell you how excited I was. I planned my afternoon around going to the laundry facility and doing my laundry for free!

In my second class today, I had an email that told us about what we needed to do to participate in Free Laundry Day. I was immediately wary because the only thing I wanted to do for Free Laundry Day was to show up. and do my laundry. for free.

The email said "come to your laundry facility during the selected times and do your laundry for free.

Selected times?? What is this like Free Laundry Hour?

Close. Free Laundry Day was conveniently between 10AM-2PM when myself and 95% of students living on campus were in class.
