Shame on You

Dear College Aged Women,

I thought about making a video about this particular post because it is a cause that is very near and dear to my heart. However, seeing as how I almost had to paddle my car across town because of the downpour, I am exhausted and usually my fingers can think up and work on a post all by themselves.

I'd like to talk to you today about Jesus...

...And how he cries when you wear leggings with no pants.

It's not just Jesus that you upset. It is the rest of the universe.

I am, of course, addressing females between 18-23, because there is something about being in college that says "I like to show off my lady parts as much as possible." I do not care if you weigh 90 or 190 pounds.

This is one of the most horrific fashion faux pas that I can think of. Worse than the mullet, worse than wearing a shirt through which you can see your bra. The only thing worse is wearing a dress with no underwear because you think no one can see through it.

*shudder*

I don't know who started this trend, but listen very carefully to me. Very. Very. Very carefully.

NO ONE thinks this is cute. 

If your bestfriendforever convinced you to go out in public wearing nothing over your leggings, punch her in the throat. It is necessary to the greater good and you need a new friend anyway. Anyone who would encourage you to go outside and allow the world to see the outlines of your feminine glory deserves it.

It is not "dressing down." It is not "just being comfortable." It is not "cool because you saw it in a magazine."

It is flat out disgusting. If I wanted to see that, I would go to a strip club. Eww

So, this is my formal announcement that if I see you in public wearing this outfit, I'm going to karate chop you in the throat. If you have any type of boots on to accessorize, I'm just going to shank you.
